Balder joins the DCSA+ Partnership Programme

Balder joins DCSA+, the Digital Container Shipping Association's programme for accelerating digital standards in container shipping.

We are happy to announce that Balder is joining the DCSA+ Partnership Programme, an initiative led by the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) to accelerate the adoption of digital standards across the container shipping industry.

DCSA+ brings together more than 20 organisations from around the world, including ocean carriers, cargo owners, feeders, terminals, forwarders and technology providers. The programme is built around three pillars: Connect, Accelerate and Contribute.

For us, joining DCSA+ means access to implementation support, early insights into emerging standards and opportunities to contribute to the development of industry-aligned digital solutions.

Bengt Lundberg, CEO of Balder:

“We’re glad to join DCSA+ and be part of the work shaping digital container shipping. As a new generation of smart container technology, Balder has the opportunity to build DCSA standards and interoperability into our solution from the outset. Through DCSA+, we want to share our IoT expertise, work closely with industry partners and help accelerate the adoption of connected containers across the global supply chain.”

Our initial focus will be on DCSA’s IoT standards work and industry events. We look forward to contributing our IoT expertise to standards development and working with others to make connected containers more widely adopted across the global supply chain.
